| “Dear Fellow Veterinarians,
About 4 years ago I almost got knocked out of practice (I am 53 years old) when I hurt my back lifting a large dog onto the exam table. The first thing I did when I got back to work was to research every good lift table I could find. I chose the DBL7 Canis Major and can honestly say that it is one of the top 5 investments I have ever made in my practice (or for my own health). After a couple of months we bought a second one for our second exam room. I would give up my x-ray machine before I parted with these tables. There is no comparison with other tables as far as safety and performance go. The clients love it and my back does not hurt everyday when I go home anymore. If you are older like me, buy one. If you are right out of school, save up some money and buy one as soon as you can afford it. They are more expensive than others on the market but well worth the cost. Spend the extra money and get the built in scale. It is invaluable. I get no money from DBL7! I am just still excited about these tables and how much easier they have made life for me. Feel free to call me if you want to talk in person. 708-349-3331.

“...best gift a practice can give to its staff...”
“...improves efficiency...”
“...clients are impressed...” |
| |
| “The lift tables manufactured by dbl.7 are the best I have seen. My reasons for buying them are because, first of all they are the best gift a practice can give to its staff. Secondly, being able to weigh animals in the exam room improves efficiency and ultimately the quality of the medicine practiced. There is a reduction in time lost and expense due to back injuries when they are used. Finally, clients are impressed by up-to-date equipment, which to them is an indication of the medical quality and treatment they can expect for their pet.” |

| “The Canis Major™ lift table with scale is an essential practice builder. As a practicing veterinarian with back and hip pain, the Canis Major’s state of the art design allows me to weigh and examine patients with ease. It’s a hit with staff, clients and patients.” |

“...no staff member would prefer to work in a hospital less well equipped...”
“...safer and less stressful...”

“I saw your Canis Major Lift Table at the North American Veterinary Conference two years ago. I immediately began planning to incorporate it in our veterinary hospital. At that time, I asked that you develop a dental table. I am so pleased that you are about to launch the new dental table. Our plumber has already installed the necessary plumbing so that we are ready to go at time of delivery.
Through the years, the most common illness/absenteeism problem our employees have is back problems. There are many things that lead to strained backs. There is nothing heavier than a limp pet under anesthesia that is lying on the floor. Restraining pets on a non-adjustable table forces some technicians or doctors to stand on tiptoes with a struggling pet. Not only do I win because my staff is less apt to be injured, but also I am showing them my commitment to them and their health. If given the choice, no staff member would prefer to work in a hospital less well equipped.
We also feel that a job done at the correct height may result in a better diagnosis, better treatment or better care for the patient. For example, most of our ultrasounds are done with the patient on the back in a “V” shaped pad. Imagine lifting a large breed dog to table height and then another 10 inches over the edge of the pad and turning the pet over to his or her back. If you are the doctor, holding the $10,000 ultrasound probe on the pet’s abdomen for 30 to 45 minutes, and the table is the wrong height, the procedure is exhausting. With Canis Major, placement in the V-pad is simple, safer and less stressful.
We also purchased this table because we wanted it to help project the quality diagnostics and care that our hospital offers. When a client steps into our “special procedures” ultrasound and telemedicine room and sees the Canis Major Lift Table, they are impressed!
I do not know how much money this table will save us, but I know that it is substantial. Instead of two or three technicians, “wrestling” with a patient, one technician, with a little help from the doctor, can perform a procedure that previously required more staff.
We are extremely excited about receiving our dental table. The ability to sit with the operator’s legs under the table and perform a dental comfortably is very desirable. We are adding our Canis Major Dental Lift Table as our second dental table. The increased speed afforded by the convenience in getting pets on and off the table and performing the prophy more comfortably will result in payback savings.
In short, these tables are long overdue and are W ON D E R F U L!
